Epoxy resin cast dry-type transformer

OEM Support

The SC(B) series epoxy resin cast dry-type transformer is a high-performance product among various dry-type transformers, featuring low loss, small size, light weight, moisture and dirt resistance, low noise, flame retardancy, strong overload capacity, and low partial discharge.

Important locations such as urban power grids, high-rise buildings, business centers, airports, tunnels, subways, stations, docks, hospitals, underground power distribution stations, laboratories, and modular substations.

1. The high-voltage coil uses oxygen-free copper wire, while the low-voltage coil uses copper foil or copper wire. It is filled and wrapped with glass fiber and then cast and cured in a vacuum using high-performance epoxy resin. This results in high mechanical strength and high reliability.

2. It is flame-retardant, explosion-proof, and environmentally friendly. The glass fiber insulation material has self-extinguishing properties, preventing arcing during short circuits, and the resin does not produce harmful gases under high heat.

3. It has strong resistance to short circuits and lightning strikes.

4. The coil does not absorb moisture, and the core and clamps have anti-corrosion protective layers. It can operate in 100% relative humidity and other harsh environments, and intermittent operation does not require dehumidification.

5. The inner and outer sides of the coil are thinly cast with resin, providing excellent heat dissipation. Transformers of any protection level can be equipped with an air-cooled system (Af) to improve short-term overload capacity and ensure operational safety.

6. Small size, light weight, small installation footprint, and low cost.

7. Low loss, good energy saving effect, economical operation, and maintenance-free.

8. Because there is no risk of fire or explosion, it can be distributed and installed at load centers, thereby reducing line construction costs and saving on expensive low-voltage facility costs.
